Simone Frank was born in Toronto. She has been exhibiting her art since 1991 in solo and group exhibitions from Toronto to Tokyo and St. Vincent, W.I (where her family is from). She has been published in Anonymous Cheese 2006, Word Magazine 2002 and Litte´Realite´ in 1998. Her work is part of the Chinese Canadian Business Association's collection in Toronto.
She is the recipient of many awards including the Toronto Arts Council Exhibition Assistance grant in 1994 and 1997 and the Ontario Arts Council Writer's Reserve grant in 1997.
